Chanukah

Chanukah is not the Jewish version of Christmas. Although it is celebrated during the same time of year, Chanukah commemorates the physical and spiritual victory of the Jews against the Greeks almost 2,000 years ago.

This year (2000 - 5761) Chanukah begins at sunset on Thursday, December 21, 2000. The eight night is December 28th.
